I love Philly deeply. I’ve lived here for over 10 years and plan to remain for much longer. Nonetheless, the Philly I love is a part of the lands stolen from and unceded to the Lenape people, who historically and currently care for and steward this place. I also recognize that this city — like all others in the US — only came to be through the coercion and exploitation of labor from workers: enslaved workers; indentured workers; trafficked workers; and domestic workers. One of my most wished-for hopes is that I and others may even begin to honor these peoples’ sacrifices in this lifetime.

additionally:

my enduring gratitude to bp for the beautiful photography, great patience, and infinite support;

my enormous debt to all my loved ones and colleagues who lent an idea or aid or reminder to slow down through this process;

my sincere appreciation for the anonymous artist who created my logo and branding materials (talk about spinning gold from straw!);

a shout-out to FLATICON and “Dwi ridwanto” for the site favicon;

&

thank you, most of all, to all my clients across time, who have taught me so much. it has, is, and will always be my privilege and pleasure.
